500 W portable motor for kayaks, SUPs, canoes, and small inflatable boats. The easiest entry into electric propulsion.
1 kW with integrated battery. Primary or auxiliary motor for tenders, inflatable boats, dinghies, and small sailboats up to approx. 1.5 tonnes.
3 to 6 kW power output, with thrust equivalent to approx. 6 to 9.9 HP. Designed for larger aluminum, fishing, and sailboats between approx. 2.5 and 5 tonnes. Battery and controls ordered separately.
12, 20, and 40 kW outboard motors for larger powerboats.
Pod drives for sailboats, from 1 to 6 kW
Inboard motors from 10 to 40 kW
This depends on the boat, load, and speed, which is why we don't provide a single number. As a rule of thumb, running at half throttle significantly increases operating time compared to full throttle. When sizing your setup, we provide a specific estimate tailored to your boat and show you how much a second battery will increase your range.
Approximate equivalence: eLite is approx. 1–1.5 HP, Spirit 1.0 is approx. 3 HP, Navy 3.0 Evo is approx. 6 HP, and Navy 6.0 Evo fits the approx. 9.9 HP category. However, electric motors deliver full torque even at low RPM, so maneuverability typically feels stronger than specs suggest.
For Spirit models with integrated batteries, charging with a standard charger takes roughly overnight, or a fraction of that with a fast charger. For larger E-series and G-series batteries, charging time depends on the charger current, with chargers available from 16 A to 32 A. Solar charging is also possible using official factory accessories.
Yes. The Spirit and Navy series are compatible with 48V E-series batteries, allowing you to add an E60 or E163 later without replacing the motor. The batteries can also be connected in parallel.
While sailing, the water spins the propeller, and the motor acts as a generator to recharge the battery. Evo models and the Pod Drive Evo feature this capability. On longer trips, this significantly increases available motoring time, ensuring you don't arrive at the harbor with a flat battery.
For Spirit models, the battery is integrated into the motor, giving you a complete ready-to-use system out of the box. However, for the Navy, Pod Drive, and X series, the battery and control options (tiller, top-mount, or side-mount throttle) are ordered separately. When requesting a quote, we always provide pricing for a complete, fully operational system so there are no surprises.
Outboard motors do not, as they mount directly onto the transom. However, Pod Drive systems and I-series inboard motors require professional installation, which we perform at our service facility in Balatonszárszó.
Products are covered by the official ePropulsion manufacturer warranty. Outboard motors, Pod Drives, and E-series batteries come with 24 months, while Navy batteries have 12 months. The warranty period begins on the invoice date, so please keep your invoice.
The manufacturer regularly offers a free 1-year warranty extension on the Spirit, Navy Evo, and Pod Drive Evo series if you register the product on the ePropulsion website within 30 days of purchase. Exact, up-to-date conditions are confirmed at the time of purchase.
Yes—in fact, this is typically one of the primary reasons for choosing electric propulsion in Hungary.
We offer home delivery across Europe, with shipping fees depending on the value and weight of the ordered items. If you prefer to pick up your order in person, you can do so at our location in Balatonszárszó.
